About Our Presenters

Paul Traub currently holds the position of senior business economist at the Detroit Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago where his responsibilities include both research and current analysis. He is a contributing author to the Michigan Economy and Midwest Economy blogs, a member of the team that created the Detroit Economic Activity Index and a frequent speaker on the Michigan economy.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks across the United States that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington D.C., serve as the central bank for the United States.

Paul R. Kenney Jr., CFA is partner at NEPC, LLC and heads the NEPC Detroit office. Paul’s consulting responsibilities include servicing endowments and foundations, healthcare systems, corporate pension plans, and private wealth.

NEPC is one of the industry’s largest independent, full-service investment consulting firms. NEPC is headquartered in Boston, MA, and has offices throughout the United States. 

The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan has retained NEPC since 1995, and Paul has been its lead consultant since 2003.
