Southfield Community Foundation
Legacy Funds

To benefit the communities of Southfield and Lathrup Village, while honoring the intentions and purposes stipulated for Southfield Community Foundation funds.

"Merging our funds with the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan will provide the resources and expertise to protect our charitable assets and maximize their impact in the community. We will benefit from the Community Foundation's outstanding investment performance and knowledge of Southfield, where they already make significant grant investments each year."

Raquel R. RobinsonPresident and CEO, Southfield Community Foundation.

In 2014, the Southfield Community Foundation transitioned its funds to the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan for administration, and to ensure their continuing benefit for the residents of Southfield and Lathrup Village. The Southfield Community Foundation had a 25-year history of service to its community and $1.96 million in permanently endowed assets. The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan will continue to administer these funds in a way that ensures that the intentions and purposes supported by donors to these funds are followed.
