Hurricane Relief

In General

Hurricane Florence hit the coastal Carolina region of the United States on September 14, 2018.  The initial landfall and resulting storm surge created significant damage and flooding across a wide region along the coast and inland as well.

Hurricane Michael hit the Panhandle region of Florida on October 10, 2018 as a Category 4 hurricane.  Wide sections of communities in that region were completely decimated.

Concerned residents of southeast Michigan are looking for ways to provide charitable support to those living in the affected areas. The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan suggests that support be directed to the following organizations who are assisting in recovery efforts –both in the immediate stages and in the longer-term recovery:
