As someone who believes everyone has value and is worthy of help, Marissa serves as the Senior Project Manager for the Health and Human Services team. She works closely with the MOP team and has a hand in each MOP initiative, including hospital-based medication for opioid use disorder, jail-based medication for opioid use disorder, and post overdose rapid response initiatives. Her goal is to ensure someone’s ability to access treatment or harm reduction services to depend on their county of residence or income level.
Marissa is also a registered dietitian, and hopes her endeavors across her professional and educational careers play a part in ending poverty. In addition to teaching others, Marissa enjoys travelling and backpacking where she gets a chance to learn from others along the way.
