This summer marks a significant milestone for the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan as we celebrate our 40th anniversary. From our humble beginnings with $4.6 million in assets in 1984 to providing $1.4 billion in funding through 91,000 grants, our journey has been remarkable.

Supporting democracy requires us to step up
Democracy is not a spectator sport. It gives us the opportunity to shape our communities, but to do so, it requires us to be well informed and fully engaged in the election process, and to have equitable access to voting.
