The HOPE Fund Grant Application

In 2020, the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan provided grants through the HOPE Fund to five LGBTQ+-serving organizations to support COVID-19 relief efforts. Due to the uncertainty of continued impacts of COVID-19 in the months ahead, the HOPE Fund is temporarily not accepting any new grant applications.

The HOPE Fund has two grant cycles each year.

  • If the proposal is submitted prior to February 15, a response will be received in June.
  • If the proposal is submitted prior to August 15, a response will be received in December.

Important Note: We have a new online grants management system. If you think you will apply for a grant, you should go on the site now and register your organization. Registration only needs to happen once, but is required before you can submit an application.

Start by reading The HOPE Fund grantmaking guidelines.
