Capacity Building for Nonprofits
The Capacity Building for Nonprofits grant program strengthens internal capacity and professional development while also encouraging collaboration and a shared vision amongst small and mid-sized nonprofits in Pontiac.
Support for the creation of a cross-sector collaborative that uses a collective impact approach to bring partners together around shared outcomes for the community.
Support for existing workforce development organizations or initiatives that are working to ensure residents have the skills they need to fill available jobs, and also have an entry point to access those jobs.
The Pontiac Funders Collaborative is supporting the creation of a cross-sector collaborative that uses a collective impact approach. Members of the Collaborative began meeting with a group of approximately 40 community leaders and residents in early 2020.
