The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan’s 2023-2024 Annual Report celebrates over 40 years of dedicated service to building a stronger, more equitable region. This report showcases the progress we’ve made together, featuring impactful stories, key achievements, and the measurable difference generated by more than 91,000 grants and $1.4 billion in distributions across our seven-county region.
Guided by our vision for a thriving southeast Michigan, the report also highlights our strategic focus on long-term sustainability through building endowment through funds such as our Now and Forever Fund. Since the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan was established in 1984, we have always prioritized equity — whether it’s our support for early childhood education, creating accessible greenways and blueways, or driving inclusive small business development.
