In 2014, the Southfield Community Foundation transitioned its funds to the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan for administration, and to ensure their continuing benefit for the residents of Southfield and Lathrup Village. The Southfield Community Foundation had a 25-year history of service to its community and $1.96 million in permanently endowed assets. The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan will continue to administer these funds in a way that ensures that the intentions and purposes supported by donors to these funds are followed.
