The Capacity Building for Nonprofits grant program strengthens internal capacity and professional development while also encouraging collaboration and a shared vision amongst small and mid-sized nonprofits in Pontiac.
The Capacity Building for Nonprofits program includes three grant opportunities:
- Professional Leadership Development: Support for individuals working in civic, nonprofit or community organizations to participate in professional development activities.
- Organizational Development:Â Support for small and mid-size nonprofit organizations seeking to improve their capacity to better serve the community in one or more of the following areas: Operations. Funding & Resource. Organizational Culture. Strategy & Planning, Program Management, & Evaluation. Leadership & Governance.
- Collaboration Development: Support for small and medium sized nonprofits to more effectively cooperate, communicate, and coordinate for consensus-building, shared policies, practices, and projects.
